Water & water saving

Do not water your plants in the heat of the day. Doing this can result in tender young plants becoming scalded.
The best time of day to water is overnight or just before dawn. This allows the plants the opportunity to absorb the water, before the sun evapourates it. It also prevents the risk of scalding. In very hot times, your garden will benefit from a pre-dawn as well as a post-sunset water.
